Mastering ChatGPT for business writing

As artificial intelligence increases in importance in the workplace, it becomes ever more important to ensure that your employees are using it correctly and effectively. Mistakes made through incorrect use of ChatGPT and similar applications can be costly and embarrassing.

This course provides participants with the skillset to use ChatGPT to take their writing to another level, and learn valuable writing skills along the way.

This one-day workshop is divided into three parts. First, participants get to understand how ChatGPT works and its limitations. Next, they learn the essentials of good writing. Finally, they put the theory to work in an extended workshop where they will have hands-on experience of writing with ChatGPT.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to: 

• Understand how ChatGPT works and its limitations and uses
• Recognise and apply the correct tone and language in business writing
• Write a range of business emails with the assistance of ChatGPT
• Write or complete a report with the assistance of ChatGPT
• Write or complete a proposal with the assistance of ChatGPT
• Use ChatGPT as a language/editing tool
• Summarise information with the assistance of ChatGPT

Employees engaged in email correspondence or other forms of business writing who aim to leverage ChatGPT to enhance their writing skills.

The basic methodology for this course is “learning by doing”. By first understanding the theory and then undergoing practice writing with feedback and guidance, participants will build a strong skillset for writing with ChatGPT.
