Description

How to handling disaster, Tackling crisis, Addressing operational & business continuity?

Crisis management training should not be limited to crisis planning, disaster readiness, or risk management teams. A crisis can hit any employee at any time and there are situations everyone should think about and plan for. Empowering your employees with crisis management training will enable them to handle the situation with confidence and effectiveness in a timely manner.

A crisis is a time of intense difficulty, trouble, or danger. Crisis management is the process by which you deal with this difficult, dangerous and disruptive event. Organizations can help employees plan for, prevent, and manage a wide variety of crises both personal and professional.

When you mention crisis management training, I think most people think about natural disasters and emergencies like an earthquake, tsunami, volcano eruptions, floods, or fires. The reality is a crisis can take many forms and affect us both professionally and personally. At a higher level, the Organization should have a more structured plan for responding and business continuity but all employees could benefit from some basic training.

“Before attending the Crisis & Disaster Management training, I was already excited to learn more. During the course I learn that we have to prepare and preempt what would happen in case of disastrous incidents. I am enlightened to find out more about our preparedness to facing a crisis. The trainer was good and able to organise breakout rooms despite of time constraint." Dominic, Havi Logistics, HR Regional Director

“I learned to think out of the box where the disaster response team might have overlook on the potential crisis that we might not have skills to handle. We need to share to our team on the learnings and review our current SOPS to ensure all follow SOP, have induction, briefing and proper drills. The training was excellent in helping my team to explore the unknown.” Lai PY, IT manager, Havi Logistics
