Duglas obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration from Riviera University, France. Majoring in “Incorporating Total Quality Management to innovate, manage change and critically think of enhancing “Customer Satisfaction”. He went on to have a distinguished career with Panasonic (M) for 23 years in Supply Chain and Quality Control Management.
Prior to becoming a trainer and consultant, he held the position as Regional QC Manager, for a leading European Investor from November, 2007 to January, 2013. His key responsibilities were to conduct Quality Control Audits for Companies or businesses which were targeted to be acquired or invested anywhere around the globe. Additionally, he was responsible for carrying out the re-engineering and restructuring for product or process reliability for the group of companies.During this tenure, he also took up extensive assignments in Thailand, Philippines, Laos, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Dubai, India, Sri Lanka, Africa, Canada, Germany, France, Switzerland and many Middle-East countries. This made his career adaptable to cross-cultural workplaces and strengthened his versatility as an experienced consultant.
This versatility has allowed him to transfer his Quality Control skills into other areas with great proficiency.
He led the "Training Needs Analysis" process for almost five thousand employees and is well-versed in identifying the skill gaps and education required by a workforce.
In addition, Dr. Duglas Fernandes possesses exceptional skills in developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of measuring and tracking performance metrics to drive organizational success.
